The stamp has no address, only coordinates
The address and the mini map come from Apple's services, so they need an internet connection. Without a network the stamp carries the coordinates and no address. Connect and open the shot in the editor: you can set or search the place there. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
The place or address is wrong
Allow Precise Location in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Geoplate, and wait a few seconds outdoors before you shoot: the first fix indoors can be a street away. You can also change the place, date and time of a shot in the editor before you save.
The app cannot save to Photos
Open iOS Settings → Geoplate → Photos and allow adding photos. The app saves new copies and never changes your originals. If you have used all the free saves, the app shows the Pro screen instead.
Old photos got no place
Some photos, like screenshots and pictures from messengers, never had a place. For photos taken with a camera, the iOS picker can leave the place out of the file. Allow the app to read your photo library when it asks (only when you tap for it): it then reads the place stored in the library. Your originals are not changed. You can also set the place yourself in the editor.
How do the free saves work?
A limited number of stamped photos and videos can be saved to Photos for free. A file counts once, when it is first saved. Saving it again, or saving a version without the stamp, is free. Shots you take stay in the app with no limit; when the free saves run out, the app offers Pro, and shots waiting in the gallery can be saved after you buy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Geoplate and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends (or before the free trial ends), otherwise it renews. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After it ends, your shots stay in the app and the files you saved stay in Photos.
I paid, but Pro is not active
Tap Restore purchases on the purchase screen or in Settings, with a working internet connection and the same Apple ID you bought with. If it still does not work, write to us with the order ID from your App Store receipt.
I reinstalled the app or got a new phone
Tap Restore purchases: your subscription or one-time purchase comes back. The shots and projects inside the app do not: they live only on the phone. Save the ones you want to Photos before you delete the app or switch phones.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where do my photos and location go?
Your shots stay on your iPhone, and we never receive them. To write the address and draw the map, the app asks Apple's services about the place; our analytics get no coordinates, addresses or project names. The full answer is in the Privacy Policy.
The free photo tool on this site does not open my photo
The tool opens JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos. If an iPhone photo (HEIC) does not open in Chrome or Firefox, open the page in Safari or save the photo as JPEG first. The tool runs in your browser and never uploads your photo, see section 16 of the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Delete shots or projects inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it keeps on the phone. Files you saved to Photos stay there until you delete them in Photos. To have the analytics and purchase record of your install deleted, write to us with the order ID from your App Store receipt; we answer within 30 days.
